Terms of Service

By accessing pawcalm.org or placing an order with PawCalm ("we", "us", "PawCalm"), you ("you", "the customer") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.

  1. Who we are

PawCalm is operated from Rue des Cèdres 10, 1950 Sion, Switzerland. Contact: team@pawcalm.org.

  1. Orders and pricing

  • Prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Your card issuer or payment processor will convert to your local currency at checkout.

  • All prices exclude duties, import taxes, or VAT that may be charged at delivery, except where collected at checkout for specific destinations.

  • An order is only confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us. Until then, we may decline an order for any reason including but not limited to: stock unavailability, payment failure, suspected fraud, abuse of promotional offers, pricing errors, or geographic restrictions.

  1. The Founding Edition offer

  • The "$29.90 + free worldwide shipping" offer ("Founding Edition") is limited to one pillow per household, shipping address, and payment method.

  • We may, at our discretion, cancel and refund duplicate orders from the same household, address, or card.

  • The Founding Edition is a time and quantity limited offer. Once we have shipped the 500 founding pillows, the offer closes and PawCalm pillows will be available at standard retail pricing.

  • The Founding Edition includes a digital "7-Day Calm Protocol" delivered by email after purchase.

  1. Product disclaimers

  • PawCalm is a comfort textile product, not a medical device, not a veterinary treatment, and not a behavior-training program.

  • We make no guarantee about any specific behavioral or health outcome for any individual dog. Every dog is different. Results in our founding-customer testimonials are anecdotal, not clinical.

  • PawCalm is not a substitute for veterinary care. If your dog suffers from severe anxiety, you should consult a licensed veterinarian.

  • The pillow is intended for small dogs up to approximately 20 lbs (9 kg). Larger dogs may use it as a chin-rest. We do not recommend the pillow be used as a sleeping surface for dogs significantly larger than this guideline.

  • The pillow is a textile product. Do not allow your dog to chew, ingest, or destroy the pillow. We are not liable for harm caused by ingestion of materials.

  • Wash instructions are printed on the product label. Damage caused by failure to follow these instructions voids refund eligibility on the basis of damage.

  1. Refunds and returns

The refund policy is governed by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The short version: 30 days from delivery, full refund, no return required.

  1. Shipping

Shipping terms are governed by our separate Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

  1. Intellectual property

  • All content on pawcalm.org, including text, photographs, illustrations, logos, the "PawCalm" name, and the 7-Day Calm Protocol, is owned by PawCalm or licensed to us. All rights reserved.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content from this site without prior written permission from PawCalm.

  • We do not claim a proprietary patent on the U-shape pillow design itself.

  1. User accounts

If you create a customer account, you are responsible for the security of your credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at team@pawcalm.org if you suspect unauthorized access.

  1. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose

  • Submit false or misleading order information

  • Resell PawCalm Founding Edition pillows for commercial gain

  • Submit fake reviews, fake testimonials, or fraudulent refund requests

  • Attempt to interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the site

  1. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law:

  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of the site is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost data, lost time, emotional distress, or veterinary expenses.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.

  1. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify PawCalm against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the product.

  1. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation will be brought before the competent courts of Sion, Valais, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence grants you a different jurisdiction.

EU consumers also have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

  1. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will reflect any change. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers or by a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
